Halloween crafts for kids
As a family of Griffyndors (could we be anything else?!), we can’t get enough of Harry Potter. I’m pretty sure I’ve lost track of the number of movie marathons we’ve had… not to mention how many times I’ve read the books cover to cover.
We even like to joke that my daughter Lily was named after Lily Potter (even though she’s not!) LOL.
When the thought came about to make our very own DIY Harry Potter wands, naturally I had to get the whole family involved!
We got outside, picked the best sticks we could find, and got crafty! Everyone customized their wand to best suit them and before long, you could swear there was actual real magic floating around!
Rest assured this craft is not only fun to make but will keep kids occupied for a while as they’re running around casting their own Harry Potter spells! They swish, flick, and chant “wingardium leviosa” and you almost believe it’s real!
They might even imagine they’re running around Hogwarts with Harry, Hermione, and Ron. 😉
