Ever come across a roll of vintage wallpaper and wish you knew what to do with it? Never fear! Here are ten modern ways to use beautiful vintage wallpaper.

Until…I found this treasure.

Check out this amazing vintage wallpaper I picked up from an antique store in Dallas. I couldn’t find any information on it so I don’t know how vintage it is, but I know I love it. Check out these lovely colors—pink and aqua with gold accents…doesn’t it sort of look like my blog? Haha!

So here’s the dilemna. There are a few places in our house we could actually put this wallpaper on the wall. I’m thinking accent wall for sure rather than an entire room.

BUT.

There are also so many cute ways people have been using vintage wallpaper these days. So here are a few of my favorites.

  2. Online shop? How exciting! I can hardly wait to check it out! I’ve been brainstorming trying to come up with some ideas for my home office. A series of those wallpapered clipboards instead of a bulletin board would be so cute, and practical to boot. Thanks for the idea!

  3. Beautiful…and so many clever ways to use it. I love the frames, the lampshade and the tags. Yes, if you had stairs that would be awesome. Honestly, I can’t wait to see what you do with it! Can’t wait to learn more about your shop too.

  4. Oh online shop that’s exciting. I love the idea of using it on bookcase I’d worry I’d move then not be able to take it with me if I put it on the wall, excited to see what you end up using it for 🙂

  5. I have used wallpaper to line cabinet shelves and the inside of ugly cabinet doors. My mother-in-law covered the shelves and inside backs of a bookcase which is loaded with memorabilia and family photos. We used to buy single rolls of wallpaper at paint stores very cheaply. We also used to pay $5.00 for a huge book of wallpaper samples when the store got new books. Pattern potpourri!

  6. I love the clipboards and the filing cabinet ideas – I also pinned a filiong cabinet that had the fronts of drawers decopaged differently and the side framed with a duct tape color (sparkly, glittery craft tape could work) and using the side for magnet mini-whiteboards. . . . Maybe I’ll mix the ideas for an old scraped out filoing cabinet in a corner of my newly converted children;s bedroom to adult office . . . or a corner of my classroom next fall . . . .I’ve framed a bunch of floral magazine pictures and wall paper scraps, which made a “garden room” out of my guest room.

  7. These ideas are fabulous! I especially love the stairs as I am looking for ideas on making over my front hall. This could be it!! Thanks for sharing these.
