You won’t want to go too overboard when decorating your kitchen space. Remember, you still have to cook, which means it will get messy daily. You won’t want to be moving a bunch of stuff off the counters or getting sauce on the decor items. Make it simple and easy – but eye-catching!

Sometimes decorating for the season can be as simple as filling a corner of your kitchen with fall decor pieces. Set out a wooden tray and decorate it with pumpkins, garland, and acorns. Mixed in with the seasonal garland, pumpkins, and orange colors, it gives this kitchen a true autumn-inspired ambiance.

If you have small shelving areas or corners in your kitchen, focusing on decorating those spaces is a good place to start. This keeps the decor localized in one area, which gives you space to continue cooking without too much in the way. They added some plain coffee cups, decorative berry vines, farmhouse vases, cutting blocks, and bowls to these small shelves. White, copper, and red have been evenly distributed throughout – there isn’t too much of one tone. While this color combination works for fall, it also reminds us of winter or Christmas, so you could easily switch out decor pieces for the next holiday.
