As I’ve shared before, I (like the rest of America!) am pretty obsessed with my Instant Pot. It’s completely changed the way I cook.

Is an Instant Pot really worth it?

Before we get to these mouthwatering Instant Pot Easter recipes, are you wondering why you should use an Instant Pot pressure cooker?

The pitch that most people give is that pressure cooking cooks food much faster than other methods of cooking. However, the truth is that sometimes it does, but that’s not always the case.

So, if it’s not faster, why use it at all? Well, I LOVE it because it’s hands-off cooking, and it does save time overall.

For example, you could cook an entire chicken in about an hour inside your Instant Pot. Instead of standing next to the stove babysitting the food while it cooks, you can spend that hour:

  • playing with your baby
  • doing dishes
  • getting ahead by making food for tomorrow
  • working out
  • watching Netflix (just being real!)

The Instant Pot is even MORE helpful when cooking a holiday meal because it takes away the pressure of needing to cook everything that day since you can premake and reheat items.

Also, it frees up your oven and stovetop for other things (if needed).

And the final (best) reason: it’s super tasty!

So, if you haven’t invested in an Instant Pot yet, do it. Today. Or ask for it for your birthday or Christmas because it will make your life easier!

Every single recipe on this list is tried and true – and delicious!

1. Honey Baked Ham in the Instant Pot

Ham is one of the most common and traditional Easter recipes. As part of our own Easter tradition, we’ve usually celebrated with a delicious ham that my mom spends hours baking.

She’ll be excited to learn you can make it in the Instant Pot (I got her hooked!).

This sliced ham with a sweet honey-glazed sauce recipe from My Heart Beets is amazing. But don’t take my word for it! The ratings and recipe comments confirm it’s a winner.

Plus, the leftover ham (if you HAVE leftovers) is incredible!

2. Instant Pot Roasted Chicken

This is one Instant Pot Easter recipe that WILL save time! Making roasted chicken in the oven takes at least an hour, but this main dish only takes 30 minutes in the Instant Pot!

Not only will this Lemon Herb Roasted Chicken from Easy Chicken Recipes taste incredible, but it will look beautiful on your Easter table!

3. Pressure Cooker Leg of Lamb

This Instant Pot recipe makes a tender lamb leg roast that’s braised with rosemary, onion, garlic, and other seasonings. It’s the perfect way to enjoy a juicy and flavorful fall-apart leg of lamb.

Try this easy recipe from Simply Happy Foodie, and you won’t be disappointed!

4. Instant Pot Salmon

Have you ever thought about making salmon for your holiday dinner? If you’re looking for an alternative to red meat and chicken, salmon gets my vote. And it’s never been easier to make than it is in the pressure cooker.

This recipe from Four Score Living yields tender, flavorful salmon that is oh-so yum!

5. Instant Pot Mashed Potatoes

Easter dinner is only complete if your mouthwatering main dish has a few delicious side dishes to accompany it!

6. Instant Pot Potato Salad

With this dish from Kristine’s Kitchen, you don’t have to constantly check the potatoes or eggs on the stove to see if they’re ready. Instead, cook them at the same time for perfect creamy potato salad this Easter.

9. Pressure Cooker Honey Ginger Carrots

Carrots are probably in my top three favorite veggie list, and these Instant Pot carrots from Inspiring NH Kids look amazing!

This dish takes two short minutes to cook in the Instant Pot. What’s more, (although I can’t guarantee it), I think these would do well frozen then reheated as you prepare other food.

10. Green Bean Casserole in the Instant Pot

Confession: I detest green beans. 😂 I won’t go into the long story about why, but there is a very traumatic childhood incident involved.

Suffice it to say it takes everything I have not to say, “yuck!”

But my husband loves them, so I include green bean casserole in holiday meals…just for him. That’s love. 🙂

Save your oven for something else and make this Green Bean Casserole from Shugary Sweets in the Instant Pot!

12. Instant Pot Asparagus

If you’re anything like me, trying to steam vegetables on the stove results in one of two scenarios:

  • super soggy, limp, overcooked veggies
  • burned veggies

Eliminate either possibility by making seasonal steamed asparagus in your Instant Pot with this recipe from Cooking With Curls!

13. Instant Pot Hard Boiled Eggs for Easter Recipes

If you make just one of these Instant Pot Easter recipes this year, make hard-boiled eggs!

There are two reasons why your family needs them: you can dye them for Easter eggs (for the kids, of course) and then turn them into deviled eggs to eat!

Deviled eggs are an Easter classic that you can easily prepare the day before. This hard-boiled eggs recipe from Unsophisticook is super easy!
