Is an Instant Pot really worth it?
Before we get to these mouthwatering Instant Pot Easter recipes, are you wondering why you should use an Instant Pot pressure cooker?
The pitch that most people give is that pressure cooking cooks food much faster than other methods of cooking. However, the truth is that sometimes it does, but that’s not always the case.
So, if it’s not faster, why use it at all? Well, I LOVE it because it’s hands-off cooking, and it does save time overall.
For example, you could cook an entire chicken in about an hour inside your Instant Pot. Instead of standing next to the stove babysitting the food while it cooks, you can spend that hour:
- playing with your baby
- doing dishes
- getting ahead by making food for tomorrow
- working out
- watching Netflix (just being real!)
The Instant Pot is even MORE helpful when cooking a holiday meal because it takes away the pressure of needing to cook everything that day since you can premake and reheat items.
Also, it frees up your oven and stovetop for other things (if needed).
And the final (best) reason: it’s super tasty!
So, if you haven’t invested in an Instant Pot yet, do it. Today. Or ask for it for your birthday or Christmas because it will make your life easier!

She’ll be excited to learn you can make it in the Instant Pot (I got her hooked!).
This sliced ham with a sweet honey-glazed sauce recipe from My Heart Beets is amazing. But don’t take my word for it! The ratings and recipe comments confirm it’s a winner.
Plus, the leftover ham (if you HAVE leftovers) is incredible!

10. Green Bean Casserole in the Instant Pot
Confession: I detest green beans. 😂 I won’t go into the long story about why, but there is a very traumatic childhood incident involved.
Suffice it to say it takes everything I have not to say, “yuck!”

Save your oven for something else and make this Green Bean Casserole from Shugary Sweets in the Instant Pot!

12. Instant Pot Asparagus

- burned veggies
Eliminate either possibility by making seasonal steamed asparagus in your Instant Pot with this recipe from Cooking With Curls!
13. Instant Pot Hard Boiled Eggs for Easter Recipes
If you make just one of these Instant Pot Easter recipes this year, make hard-boiled eggs!
