Our New Patio with World Market

If you all don’t know by now, I am absolutely obsessed with spending time on our patio. Particularly when we have beautiful weather, which, in Texas are the months before the 110 degree temperature spike. 🙂 When I had the opportunity to partner with World Market to give our patio a complete makeover, I jumped at the opportunity.

We are really fortunate to have a great outdoor space already. Our covered patio is huge and overlooks the pool (my favorite part of the house!). Here’s what our patio looked like before:

Since we entertain a lot, we were really ready to upgrade our patio table. There were a ton of choices, but I immediately knew I wanted this one from the Havana Club line, the Espresso Wood Hermosa dining table. I really like this one because it can very comfortably seat 8, and the square shape works with our patio set up better than a rectangular shaped one would.

Once I had my table selected (it was totally easy to put together btw!), it was time to tackle patio chairs. For our needs, I wanted something that was multipurpose and easy to move around since it won’t be every day that we have 8 people dining over. We did a combination of traditional patio seating and fun garden stools—I absolutely love the color and versatility that they add to our patio!

The bench is the matching Espresso Wood Hermosa bench. We also picked up two wicker chairs from World Market, and for comfort (and color!) we decided to layer in a couple of patio chair cushions (we loved the pattern on these!). I think the whole set looks awesome on our new reversible outdoor rug.

There were so many cute stool options at the store! I had a really, really hard time narrowing it down, but in the end I stuck with my favorite color palette of mint and white. The white one is here, the one with the brown legs here, and the larger mint drum stool is here.

Even though it’s not quite pool weather yet, it’s the perfect time to enjoy the Great Outdoors with friends—so we threw a little dinner party to show off our new patio!

I’m kind of obsessed with the current pineapple trend so I had to load up on summer essentials like these salad servers and this pineapple bowl—doesn’t it make you happy looking at it!? 🙂 The rest of the table was made extra festive with these fun plates—I couldn’t decide between the Flamingo melamine plates and the Hummingbird melamine plates so I splurged and got both.

Of course no summer party is complete without sangria. I couldn’t help myself and had to pick up these clear Pacific Acrylic tumbler glasses and accessorized them with these straws—aren’t they fun?
