I might have found my new favorite spot in the house—our entryway! Yes it’s a small space, but it now has the most gorgeous floral wallpaper of all time and was maybe the fastest dramatic makeover we’ve done—check it out!
For years I’ve been watching the wallpaper trend with some disbelief. I’m used to removing wallpaper, not adding it. Just thinking back on all the hours and aching arm muscles it took to remove wallpaper from our last house has my arms tingling all over again! The thing is though, wallpaper has gotten seriously cool.
I spotted this gorgeous wallpaper over on Anthropologie’s website over a year ago and have been coveting it ever since. It’s definitely not cheap—in fact, it’s so pricey that I decided the perfect—and only place—it could go is in the entryway since it’s the smallest room we’ve got. 🙂 It took three rolls, to cover this space, but I’d say it’s worth it.
In case you’ve forgotten what our entryway looked like before here it is. Yellow and bland on the walls with gorgeous molding and lighting on top.
Having tackled many DIY projects in my life did not prepare me for wallpaper installation, so I hired an expert to come do it. SO glad I did. It was so lovely just to come home and see it all finished after two days. We did paint the bottom half bright white to make the wallpaper pop.
I love that the entryway sets the mood for the rest of our home. It’s all still coming together, but this part makes me smile every time. 🙂
As you can see from the above photos, we’ve also been putting our dining room together—I can not wait to share! Isn’t that (table) leg peeking out sexy? Haha!
What do you guys think of the wallpaper trend? I’ve already got my eye on a few more patterns…we’ll see.

Thank you so much 🙂
I didn’t realize that wallpaper was a thing again! Thanks for educating me. I think it looks terrific. So classy and colorful. I just love your updates on the house progress!
Sidenote – I watched an I Love Lucy rerun the other day in which Lucy and Ethel try to hang wallpaper. Hilarious. I’m glad you got an expert in to do it because that looks like hard stuff!
Looks so happy!!!!
Ahhh, I love it! I’ve adored this wallpaper forever! So excited that you used it in your home! Beautiful!
I LOVEEEE this print, it makes the entry way SO much brighter. LOVE LOVE.

OMG! That is sooo cute! Most people I’ve seen do wallpaper have been sticking with basic patterns, stripes, chevron, etc. Bit I just love the flowers. It looks so much nicer and the white paint just makes it pop 🙂

It’s breathtaking! I would never leave. Super job. And I’m quite envious.
Love those flowers! Such a cool look!
I would love to see some more photos of how this ties in with the rest of décor in your home… I’m betting a beautiful ‘shabby chic’. Will you be posting some more sometime? I LOVE the flowers.
I think the wallpaper really allows your fancy molding to show off too! I am not a fan of yellow, the white and pink/green wallpaper is a welcome sight! Where did you find that pattern?

Hi Susan! Thank you! I do love that trim! The wallpaper is from Anthropologie. 🙂
Hi. Love your room! Can you tell me what the white paint color is called and where you got it from? Thanks!
This is seriously so pretty. I could live in Anthropologie. Your home is beautiful. Pinned and sharing. Thanks for sharing at the inspiration spotlight party @DearCreatives See you again soon.
