Benjamin Moore’s Simply White Room Examples
I’ve been a huge fan of Benjamin Moore paint for years and love following their yearly color forecasting trends. I have to admit though, I don’t always agree. In 2016? It’s all about white. To be more specific, Simply White. This is one color I can definitely get on board with!
Simply White is such an interesting color to me. Sometimes it looks bright white and sometimes it has strong yellow or lavender undertones. I actually tried this paint color in our home but it turned out super pink and we repainted over it with Super White (also by Benjamin Moore). Just like any paint color, you’ve got to swatch it on your wall and see how it turns out. Every single photo below features Simply White and they’re making me wish I had another wall to try it out on! 🙂
What do you think? Are you on board with the white trend yet? You guys know I love my white paint! You’ve got a few months left to try it out and be ahead of the curve for 2016. 🙂

I need to give this paint color a try! It looks great in all these photos.
Isn’t it insane how white can take in so many different colors and look so different in certain rooms or with certain lighting? I absolutely love these pictures!!!
I have SO much to learn from you!!!!!
I always love seeing what colors make the cut every year for things like this and Pantone! I have to say I wish it were something a little brighter, but I’m a total color junkie! 🙂
What a gorgeous home and I love that color! I can’t wait to own my own home and be able to paint it the colors that I want! I love this brand of paint as well! Have used it on several projects!
For as much as I love everything in life to be colorful, I love white paint on walls too! It makes all the paintings and furniture *pop.* It’s funny that it’s considered an up-and-coming trend…white on walls is so antique, charming, and clean…it never goes out of style!
It’s so funny – I would never have expected the color of the year to be white! It seems so basic – but the inspirational pictures you posted were anything but. My favorites are the ones with splashes of bold blues. I’m definitely on board for white walls and decor!
i think this a great color that is more than just white, as you mentioned in your post.
It certainly is a crip clean color. I’m sure with the right decor and textures you can do anything with it. A blank slate if you will.
I love how simple and clean this color, but kids…..white doesn’t stay white for very long around here. 😉
Wow, this is a neat post. I’ve always loved white but you are right there are so many different color shades in just white paint. I really love the living room picture with the sunlight streaming in. The white here looks so warm and cozy. The rest of the house is so clean and fresh. And the nice part is that you can add color where you want and change it when you want !! Always love my white. !!
Wow, I never expected their Color of the Year to be white. It just seems like the anti-color. But I love how Simply White changes with the light. I have a stairway I wanted to repaint in a brighter white. Maybe this one will work!
I love this color and love your home!!! I’d love it if you linked up some of your inspiration posts like this at Worthwhile Wednesdays.I’d love it it you’d link it up at Worthwhile Wednesdays Link Party!
