You know those things around your house that you look at and you think, “I really must do something with that soon!”? You guys are all very responsible and probably immediately get up and do whatever it is with it, but maybe you are like me and you mean really well but almost six years go by…oops. Point in case—my wedding bouquet!
Scott and I got married almost six years ago, and I always wanted to do something special with my wedding bouquet. In fact, when I was choosing my florals I purposely chose flowers that would dry well and not crumble apart. Every time I looked at the bouquet, which was sitting on a shelf in our kitchen for a long time, I would add doing something with it to my to-do list. Luckily for me, I was approached by Aaron Brothers to participate in a challenge called What Would You Frame?. They partnered with me to help me frame something a bit out of the box…so my wedding bouquet finally got the respect it deserved. Spoiler alert—it looks awesome!
Just for fun, here’s a photo of my bouquet in prime action. Awww! Any excuse to throw in a wedding pic or two TBH! 🙂
This was my first time having anything custom framed and I had so much fun! There are over 700 moulding choices and 400 mats, which sounds sort of overwhelming but they have them all displayed so you can scan and pick the ones you like immediately. What’s even more fun is they have a custom framing visualization system that helps you see how it all looks together. I’m pretty indecisive so we went through about 15 designs until we found one that Scott and I liked.
Everyone I worked with there was super friendly and made the process really easy and enjoyable. They walked though all the different options and pricing points so I was able to find something that fit my style and my budget.
Another thing I really appreciated was the glass. Especially being someone who takes a ton of photos in our house, I hate how some frames are super reflective and you can’t see the art in them! The glass Aaron Brothers uses is awesome and there are NO glares, yay!
I was so excited when I got to pick up my package a week later. I had serious butterflies! 🙂
You guys, I am so happy with how it turned out! Since we are still in the unpacking stage at the new house, we haven’t found a permanent home for my bouquet yet but I can’t wait to show it off and hang it in a place of honor!
Here’s the fun part for you! Aaron Brothers and I are teaming up to give away a $200 gift certificate to have something of your own custom framed! YAY! Entering is easy. Just leave a comment here and tell me what unique item you would choose to have framed! The possibilities are endless, so get creative. You can also enter on social media using the hashtag #WhatWouldYouFrame—just make sure you tag me so I can see it! I’ll be selecting a winner on July 31.
Can’t wait to see what you guys pick! 🙂
This is a sponsored post in partnership with Aaron Brothers. All opinions, design decisions and six-year neglect of my bouquet are all entirely my own. 🙂
