This is like one of those posts that I am almost embarrassed to share because it hardly qualifies as a DIY. It’s SO EASY. This easy DIY Christmas wreath literally took me about 5 minutes to put together—and I would rank it a 1 on a 1-10 difficulty scale.
Not only is this easy DIY Christmas wreath a snap to put together, it’s really inexpensive too! I think I spent about $15 total on this one, and I’ve already gotten lots of compliments. Ready to learn how to make a Christmas wreath from scratch? Let’s do this! 🙂
How to Make an Easy DIY Christmas Wreath
First, gather your supplies. For this project, you’ll need:
- A grapevine wreath
- Christmas filler picks (these are WAY cheaper at your local craft store! Try to get them there if you can!)
- Hot glue gun + sticks (don’t forget the finger caps! Serious game changer!)
- 2.5″ thick Christmas ribbon (also recommend you pick this up at a local craft store!)
- Wire cutters
Take the Christmas picks and guide them into the grapevine wreath, securing with hot glue. Layer several different picks together, gluing each layer into the brambles of the wreath.
I prefer to keep mine simple and like to only have the decor on one side of the wreath, so this took me about 3 minutes. Once everything was secure, I tied a ribbon to the bottom of my wreath in a bow shape.
Then, I hung it. The end! Hah! I told you all this was an easy DIY Christmas wreath!
I told you learning how to make a Christmas wreath from scratch would be super easy! So, are you ready to make your own?
PS- If you have extra picks over, hang on to them! I have another post coming this week showing you exactly what to do with them—it’s an even easier project than this!!
