I had a chance to show off the inside of the HGTV Dream Home 2019 in my last post, but today I want to talk a bit more about the outdoor area. And, spoiler alert, this post is also serving as my friendly reminder that the HGTV Dream Home Giveaway 2019* ends on February 18th.
First of all, I absolutely love how the patio design isn’t your typical rectangle mass, but rather this really beautiful, alluring curved shape with those pretty Belgard pavers.
I mentioned this in my last post, but the entire home was designed to give a nod to its beautiful surroundings and to create a seamless transition between the home and the outdoor nature. I don’t know how they did it, but the Belgard pavers actually look like the sunset. Do you see it? SO beautiful!
The pavers are called Avalon Slate, and they are modular, meaning you can arrange them in hundreds of ways. They are stunning.
Speaking of creating blurred boundaries between inside and out, can you all see that there are two distinct areas Belgard created? There’s the kitchen area with a grill and dining section, and then the living room area with that amazing fireplace.
