The Biggest News of My Entire Life!
Eeeek…I’ve been sitting on this secret for what feels like forever and a half…but it’s finally time to share! You guys won’t believe it—I finally achieved my lifetime goal and made it on the cover of People magazine! Scott too! Check it out!
Okay, fine. So maybe the cover isn’t real, but our happy news is! I’m going to be a mom! I’m still so shocked…am I really old enough to have a baby (at 32, I’ve been assured that I am. ?)?
I’ve managed to make it out crawling on hands and knees of the first trimester, and am re-joining the land of the living. I’m feeling pretty goods at 20 weeks (half done!). Between pregnancy and wrapping up the kitchen remodel, the last few months have been pretty intense…hence the radio silence that’s been going on here.
The best news?
OUR BABY IS A GIRL!!!!
I am so, so thrilled—and still a little shocked!
We did a small gender reveal with our families and did a confetti balloon. When that pink glitter came gushing out I had an out of body expereince—here’s a screenshot.
I am working on a post all about the first trimester—if you have any questions add them in the comments and I’ll do my best to answer! 🙂
For now, I’m excited to roll up my sleeves and get back to work! The kitchen remodel is done and I can’t wait to share…now it’s extra special. 🙂 I feel so grateful for each of you and for all your support. Our little baby is already so loved!! <3
