Spending Time at the Dallas Arboretum

There are a lot of things I really love about our house.  One of them being our proximity to White Rock Lake and the Dallas Arboretum.

Scott and I have spent many a day out at the Arboretum, walking around the flowers, taking photos, having picnics and people watching.  It’s truly a beautiful place.  I had the pleasure of going there with my mom and my aunt when she was in town from the East coast recently. We had such an amazing time- I love spending time with these two gifted women! I love hearing them tell stories about growing up, one another and, of course, ME! 🙂 I may not be the botanical expert they both are but I certainly enjoyed the company and all the beauty.

These are just some of the photos I snapped while we were there.  Mom and Soraya Joon- thank you both for being so patient with me and my camera! 🙂
