White Rock East Garden Tour

I had the opportunity to celebrate my mom’s birthday this month by taking her out on the White Rock East Garden Tour.  We had a wonderful time and the gardens were so incredible.  I still can’t believe people live in some of these houses and get to enjoy these gorgeous gardens every day.  I would be so tan and happy if I had a garden like that! 🙂

The tour was put on in near us in the Casa Linda, Forrest Hills and Little Forrest Hills neighborhoods.  They had food trucks (which I didn’t partake in this time) and lots of water and fans (which I definitely partook in!! 🙂 ) There was everything from a gorgeous hen house for farm fresh eggs to fire pits to giant plants and gorgeous sculptures.  I am looking forward to next year already!

My biggest regret is I didn’t think to get anyone to take a photo of my mom and I! BOO.  I did get some photos of some of my favorite features from the homes however, so enjoy the eye candy that East Dallas has to offer (represent!!):
