Merry Christmas Eve Day! (Is that how we technically say that!)
I just wanted to pop in really quick and say how thankful I am for each and every one of you! I have loved the comments and conversations and the cheerleading and creative ideas. So thank you! I’ll be taking some time off to regroup, refresh, unplug and celebrate with friends and family, but look forward to being back next week with some great ideas and some exciting house progress. Woo hoo!
Still wanting to make a handmade Christmas gift? It’s not too late! Here are some fairly easy ones you can get done today that are sure to spread Christmas cheer!
With a few ingredients you can make a gift that is sure to impress and spread lots of Christmas cheer! This peppermint vodka recipe has been a hit with everyone I’ve given it to. I paired it with shotglasses and a fancy bow for a fun set.
Have a couple of placemats lying around? Then you can quickly and easily make this DIY no-sew pillow! Who doesn’t love pillows?
Add a little extra greenery to someones life- bonus they will never have to water or take care of it! This diy succulent frame I made is still one of my favorite pieces around!
If, however, you have a loved one that likes REAL plants, then spend a few minutes spray painting some terra cotta pots. Fill them with a plant, or with seeds and some gardening gloves, and you have a complete gift that will make their love grow for you (get it, haha!)
Lastly, if you have time to swing through the craft store, grab some of these cardboard letters and spray paint them your preferred color. I vote for gold. You can spell their name, or a special phrase.
Merry Christmas friends!! Enjoy your time with loved ones!
And in the same region there were shepherds out in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And an angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were filled with great fear. And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger.” And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying,
“Glory to God in the highest,
and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!”
